North Avalon Headland.
Avalon is a small but vibrant seaside town and home to a variety of cafes, whole food stores, fresh seafood, boutiques, bookshops and homeware stores.
It is a popular surfing destination, not only for myself but for many who come from far and wide. A very friendly atmosphere offers the perfect 'sea change' lifestyle we all crave. It holds a unique closeness of community, people love to stop and chat on the street or at bench seats by the sea.
With a slightly slower pace of life than the rest of Sydney, locals enjoy wider, quieter roads and an overall sense of belonging. It is my home town and my painting studio exists as my sanctuary here.
