Pittwater is located around 30kms north of sydney and is a large body of water often considered a bay or harbour. There are colourful stories of smugglers and pirates that once took shelter in these still pristine beaches dotted along its shores.
This spot is a boaters paradise and the views along it are superb, the waters calm and the atmosphere always peaceful. It is a popular spot for stand-up paddle boarding and fisherman enjoy catching small fish from the jetties.
The Basin is a gorgeous picnic spot that looks over Pittwater and it is hard to beat the stunning sunsets that light up the hundreds of boats dotted along it's inlets.
