"North Headland Whale Beach"
Nestled between Palm Beach and Avalon, Whale Beach is a beautiful location on Barrenjoey Headland. The sand is clean and the water sparkles, my kids love to play in the shady playground there and it is our favourite rock pool for swimming and climbing on the rocks.
It reveals many gorgeous Norfolk Pines which provide plenty of shelter on hot summer summer days. The "Wedge"is the well known surf peak here and popular with the locals. It has a uniquely shaped, rocky cliff edge that I like to highlight in my painting.
