The Tiger

Majestic orange tigers with ornate black stripes are a such a wonder as they roam jungles of asia. They are majestic creatures of unparalleled beauty and for this reason they are an inspiring subject for me to paint.They eminate an energy of stealth and precision through their steely gaze.

I am greatly saddened that their existence is threatened and the lack of detail in the high contrast areas of this work give me that sense of a slow fading away of the species. Let's pray we can preserve them in time! We can't lose these magnificent predators, so important to our delicate ecosystem.
